Back in the 1960's a wonderful golden book of chemistry experiments was the favoriate Christmas gift of its time. Chemistry sets sold by the millions, and kids were experimenting with everything from changing the color of liquids to making new metals. And in many experiements a flame was used in the experiment. Well, given time, and millions of kids playing with the flame, houses were accidentally burned and The Golden Book of Chemistry Experiments was to blame.
The book was banned in the 1960's because of the numerous house fires, but the book never died. Today it is available in an electronic format (ebook) and is available for instant download only from sellers with the technology to do so. This is a large PDF document and may take a half hour or more on high speed to download.
